PriceQuantics 1.0 is an experimental model that forecasts prices for over 5 thousand types of commodities and industrial products. Its first version, 1.0, was released to the public on May 15, 2007. The model used in version 1.0 takes seasonality and trend observed in monthly prices of the last 5 years, expressed as indexes, to predict monthly prices for the next 5 years. |
